If you have not completed the RAP tour, now is your time! The RAP tour showcases the best of Ontario snowmobiling in one remarkable circle tour Round Algonquin Park. Snowmobiling through OFSC Districts 6, 7 and 11, riders will experience incredible trails on an exciting mix of utility corridors, abandoned rail lines and old logging roads, plus sledding through the extensive forests of the rugged Canadian Shield.
The plan is:
¨ Thu, 15 Feb 2018—Carleton Place to Mattawa Golf and Ski (~340 kms)
¨ Fri, 16 Feb 2018—Mattawa to Haliburton (~350 kms)
¨ Sat, 17 Feb 2018—Sled around Haliburton on the Corporate Ride (~200 kms)
¨ Sun, 18 Feb 2018— Haliburton to Barry’s Bay, Ash Grove Inn (~260 kms)
¨ Mon, 19 Feb 2018—Barry’s Bay back to Carleton Place (~320 kms)
Call Mattawa Golf and Ski 800-762-2339 to book a cottage (3-4 people can stay in each cottage) for Thursday night and Ash Grove Inn 613-756-7672 to book a room for Sunday night. If you haven’t done so already rooms for the Corporate Ride at the Pinestone Resort in Haliburton need to be booked before Dec. 10th. There is a block of rooms held under the BEAST.
